10 Pieces to Help You Stay Cozy This Fall

When thinking of fall, I immediately think of the word “cozy”. Cuddled up on the couch with my favourite reading socks, a super warm knitted throw blanket or a chunky knit sweater on those chilly Toronto days – much like today, that’s what I love. Whenever this season hits, no matter what I have in my closet, I am always on the hunt for a few cozy pieces. Either for my home or for my wardrobe, I just can’t get enough and with a wide prize range in stores, it’s easy to splurge and also save on some key cozy pieces to get me through the season.

While coat season is also here, fall is the perfect time of year when you can get away with wearing layers of knits rather than going directly to a leather jacket (but I also never turn down a leather jacket). Whether you are pairing a sleeves knit like I’m wearing here, or looking for a a basic knitted cardigan to pair with all your dresses, I’ve got 10 of my current favourite must-have cozy pieces that would be perfect for this season!

1. Cozy reading socks are a must because nothing is quite as sweet as curling up on the couch with a good book, hot chocolate and these reading socks from Chapters Indigo!

3. I’m all for just a classic knitted sweater. It never goes out of style, but always manages to keep you warm and this long sweater from GAP is the perfect addition to your wardrobe!
4. I have my fair collection of faux-fur vests, but this one from BB Dakota is the perfect shade and the perfect piece to create a layered cozy look!
5. Imagine the perfect fall set up at home. Does it involve a warm faux-fur blanket? Mine definitely involves this one from HM Home.
6. I’m a firm believer that skirts don’t need to be saved for warmer months, but pairing them with stockings like these ribbed tights from Commando will do the trick!
