With 2016 approaching, it’s that time of year when you think – what’s next? The New Year brings so much hope and so many goals to mind that can make the next year that much better than the previous.

Since 2015 was all about my career, I’m making 2016 all about health and travel, and while I’m already looking out for the health part, I’ve vowed to make this coming year the year of seeing the world! Whether it’s weekend getaways or an around-the-world journey, I can’t wait for what the New Year has in store for travelling.

Since learning about the Aspire Travel World Elite MasterCard and Platinum MasterCard from Capital One, I’ve especially been more excited than ever to travel just knowing of its features that allow me to gain rewards as I spend! And that’s not just travel! Not only can the Capital One Aspire Travel reward miles be redeemed towards travel-related expenses, but other features like no redemption tiers, no minimum redemption requirements and the option to redeem reward miles for a portion of a transaction are what makes this card so essential for me to have while travelling to my wish list spots!

Greece

Greece just looks like pure heaven. From laying on the sand at Paradise Beach in Mykonos or enjoying the waters at Ambelas Beach in Paros, I am ready to finally see Greece and enjoy its beauty. Aside from the beauty of the beaches, Athens urban scenery mixed with its exciting history, showcasing its culture and beautiful character definitely makes it a must-see destination.

Spain

How could I go to Europe and not visit Spain? On my list for what seems like years, Spain has both the beautiful beach and gorgeous city for an ideal getaway. Set on the Mediterranean, there is so much to experience! A stop at the gothic Burgas Cathedral, visiting the hidden coves of Ibiza or dining at a stylish restaurant in the Basque country and bar-hopping and clubbing are only a few of the plans on my list!

In no way would I plan these to be short trips so using my rewards points is essential.\

If you have your wish list ready and you’re planning some time to travel, look to the Travel World Elite MasterCard or The Aspire Travel Platinum MasterCard, so you can save and redeem on your next travel related expenses. You can find more information on the rewards cards here and share with us on Twitter using #C1Aspire what destinations are on you 2016 travel wishlist!
