A Beautiful #NespressoMorning

A Beautiful #NespressoMorning

It seems like it was only yesterday I was staying overnight at the luxurious Windsor Arms hotel in Toronto, indulging in room service and the jacuzzi tub and waking up to a beautiful morning breakfast with Nespresso, but in fact it was just last Thursday and I so badly wish I was currently doing just that.

After a hectic last few weeks, I was so excited to enjoy an overnight staycation at Windsor Arms courtesy of Nespresso. Checking in on Thursday night was soon followed by a Salt Cave session at the Windsor Arms spa, leaving the rest of the night to go crazy with room service and soak in the jacuzzi tub with a big cup of Nespresso as I got more comfortably acquainted with their latest VertuoLine Grand Cru coffees – Solelio and Giornio.

As much as I just wanted to pull the sheets over my head and enjoy a few extra hours in the cozy bed the next morning, I joined a few bloggers, the sweet Nespresso team and renowned Chef Ricardo Larrivee who treated us to a sit down breakfast at the Nespresso Boutique in the heart of Yorkville. It was there where Ricardo introduced the delicious breakfast bars that he created to pair with the two new Solelio and Giorgio coffees. As someone who prefers a lighter intensity brew, especially in the morning, I appreciate the two new flavours and how perfectly they complement the delicious breakfast bars that are ideal for the person always on the go.

The chic breakfast spread and wonderful company was a great way to finish off the week and the experience was eye opening as Ricardo shared insights as to how Canadians like their coffee and just how important breakfast is to us! His results led to the creation of the breakfast bars which consisted of a raspberry and dark chocolate bar that complimented the Giorgio flavour and then the apple carrot bar which was paired with the Solelio.

It was an unforgettable evening and morning with Nespresso and I encourage you to try the two new VertuoLine flavours and breakfast bars which you can find the recipes for here! And luckily for the Toronto Nespresso lovers, from May 30 to June 3, Nespresso will be giving out free breakfast bars and coffee to Torontonians at RBC Wellington Square at 200 Bay Street.

Don’t miss out on the pop up, and if you visit, I’d love to hear what you think of the breakfast bars and Nespresso coffee. Just tweet me here and include #NespressoMorning!
