Aleksandra Lesniak

My name is Aleksandra Lesniak and I am the blonder half of GOTO. I am a graduate of the Public Relations and Publicity program at the University of Toronto. I have always had an immense love for fashion and writing so I feel very fortunate to be able to share both of my passions with all of you.

Before moving to Europe in late 2011 my life in Toronto revolved around running around the city from one fabulous event to the other and then blogging about it. Also, I was extremely lucky to have worked with some amazingly talented Canadian designers as a freelance publicist.

Gaining experience and perspective on both the media and PR sides, I was able to truly appreciate the tremendous amount of effort that people put forward in their careers. I met some fantastic and absolutely professional individuals, including many idols of mine, who helped guide and shape me into the person I am today.

I think that I have the best friends and family in the world who give me nothing but phenomenal things to say about them; I simply like to call them “best friend’s bragging rights”.

I am currently travelling through Europe. I’ve been in Poland since December 2011 and will be continuing on to Germany, France, and England before the year is over. I’d say something deep and meaningful here about finding myself or broadening my horizons but quite honestly I just missed being in Europe and wanted to see places I hadn’t been to before. I’m hoping that this experience will continue to shape me into an even better human being (I think I’m pretty okay at the moment – haha) and I’m looking forward to everything life plans to throw in my direction.

I’m still actively involved in my work and I hope to be able to share a little bit of Europe with all of my friends and readers.
