Honestly, who doesn’t love avocados?!

Knowing that 250 million avocados are consumed by Canadians per year, it’s obvious that the avocado has become a popular addition to everyones dishes. Avocado toast is also a common Instagramable dish and I’m sure if you are on the gram you can vouch for that! However, avocados are not just for eating, but I personally find that they are an inexpensive and fun DIY anti-aging and moisturizing tool for hair and skin!

Avocados contain four per cent of the daily value of vitamin E and protect the body tissue from damage caused by free radicals, so of course, they make for amazing hydrating face masksremedies for frizzy hair, dark circle and puffy eye correctors and are a natural salve for dry hands. Not only do they have so many uses for your beauty regime but I have 3 of my favourite recipes that really do the trick for your hair and skin, and they are super easy to prepare.

Keep scrolling for a face mask recipe, hand cream recipe and conditioning hair mask prepared using Avocados from Mexico and obviously, if you have some avocados left over, make some guac!
