Books To Help Inspire You In 2017
As I’ve mentioned previously here on the blog, I think incorporating more books and reading into your life is a great way to get inspired and motivated. At least it works for me! Seeing that I would like to improve my health physically, I’d also like to improve my mental health as well, and that begins with filling my mind with positive and inspiring thoughts.
As much as I love a good thriller novel, I find myself always reaching for new books to inspire me whenever I need some wisdom or encouragement. I know it can really help in tough situations, so I’ve pulled together a few books that are perfect to start the new year and keep anyone on the road to success and positive thinking.
The first book that caught my eye was In The Company of Women and I am so happy that I got my hands on it. Filed with some of the most influential and creative women on the planet, you really get a beautiful mix of women from all ages, races, backgrounds, and industries – all spilling inspirational advice. From sharing their journey to success to offering insight in to what practices and tools help them, you are bound to find loads of inspiration from some fabulous women.
The next book that has been living on my coffee table as of late is Bad Girls Throughout History: 100 Remarkable Women Who Changed the World. As if my previous choice wasn’t filled with enough girl power, this book is filled with pages highlighting important women in our history that have paved the way for the rest of us. From the legendary Cleopatra to costume designer, Edith Head and even one of my favourites, Tina Fey. Each page is full of inspirational stories of the Bad Girls, or as I like to call them “Badass Girls” of our history.
These two books may be my most recent additions to my coffee table, but there are loads of inspirational books that will help make your 2017 the best year yet! If you’re on the look for a book to inspire you in 2017, take a look at these books as well available at Indigo:
