City Slicker: The Slicked Back Hairstyle

Aaron Samuels may look sexy with his hair pushed back (Mean Girl’s reference) but not everyone can pull of this look; more and more celebrities and starlets are grabbing the hair gel and slicking it all back.

When is this hair style appropriate? In my opinion, its the female version of the power suit. If you have an event where you need to show up and radiate confidence and power this may be the hair style you rock.

How to achieve this look?

Apply a wet-look gel to damp combed back hair to the front and sides of your head. Finish the look off by applying a light layer of hairspray to keep everything in place.
