DIY Coffee Cart feat. Nespresso Limited Edition Flavours

Upon moving into my new place over a month ago, I knew that I wanted to do something fun with my gold bar cart but I just didn’t know exactly how I wanted to style it. Since I’m not that big of a drinker, and I find that I have an obscene amount of coffees, espresso’s and teas, I came up with the idea to turn my bar cart into a coffee cart!

Similar to the idea of a bar cart, I have dressed my gold cart into a cute cafe nook that is complete with my Nespresso machine, cups, mugs, knick knacks and of course, a healthy amount of my current favourite blooms! I’m really loving how I’ve put the cart together and I’m obsessed with having friends over and catching up over a hot bevy. Not to mention that I’ve personally never been to a house where I’ve seen a coffee cart, so the fact that its original really adds to my obsession.

Since having the cart, I’ve come to really enjoy taking time out of my day to enjoy a hot cup of Nespresso. Until now, I never really understood the espresso lifestyle, but the flavours, the quality and especially the convenience of having a delicious Nespresso machine at home is helping me realize that its much more of a lifestyle rather than just a hot beverage.

To add to their amazing lineup of Nespresso flavours this year, the brand recently looked to the unique coffee growing communities of Lake Kivu, Rwanda and Chiapas, Mexico to develop two exceptional new OriginalLine capsule Limited Edition coffees for its latest launch.

Originating from very different communities but still united by devotion and expertise, the names of Limited Edition capsules mean ‘heart’ in their respective native languages – ‘UMUTIMA wa Lake Kivu’ and ‘TANIM de Chiapas’.

Synonymous with quality and coffee expertise, Nespresso has opted to pay tribute to these two small but highly knowledgeable coffee growing communities – one using contemporary post-harvest techniques, and the other using traditional methods passed down through the generations. Nespresso has paired the dedication that the farmers have for growing high quality coffee with their own firmly established expertise in roasting and grinding technology to create ‘UMUTIMA wa Lake Kivu’ and ‘TANIM de Chiapas’.

Both delicious in flavour, the UMUTIMA wa Lake Kivu and TANIM de Chiapas are Pure Origin coffees which means that 100% of the coffee has been sourced from their respective regions and countries.

‘UMUTIMA wa Lake Kivu’ and ‘TANIM de Chiapas’ will be available for a limited period starting January 25th, in Nespresso boutiques worldwide, online at www.nespresso.com, and through orders from the Nespresso Customer Care Centres.  Both limited editions are priced at $8.50 for 10 capsules.
