We’ve mentioned before how Reese Spreads have become our latest guilty pleasure, so as we’ve been indulging a little too much, we just had to share these fun recipes that are both easy to make but very delicious.

Whether you are looking for a quick snack, your next recipe to bring to your friends party, or a desert to complete a great meal, you can’t go wrong with these favourites including the unique one-of-a-kind combination of chocolate and peanut butter taste. Peanut Butter Chocolate Filled Oatmeal Bars Recipe

Skill Level:  Beginner

  • 6 tbsp butter or margarine (90 mL)
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (75 mL)
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar (250 mL)
  • 1 egg (1)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (2 mL)
  • 1 1/4 cups quick-cooking rolled oats (300 mL)
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (300 mL)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda (2 mL)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (1 mL)
  • 1 1/4 cups REESE Spreads (300 mL)

Directions

  • 1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 8- or 9-inch (20- or 23-cm) square baking pan.
  • 2. Beat butter, peanut butter and brown sugar until well blended. Add egg and vanilla; beat thoroughly.
  • 3. Stir together oats, flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture. (Dough will be thick.) Remove 1 cup (250 mL) dough; set aside. Press remaining dough onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • 4. Spread peanut butter chocolate spread over dough. Crumble reserved dough evenly over spread.
  • 5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until top is golden brown. (Peanut butter chocolate spread will be soft.) Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
  • Makes 16 bars.

Peanut Butter And Chocolate Coated Bacon With Sea Salt Recipe

Prep Time:  20 Minutes 
Skill Level:  Beginner

  • 10 slices bacon (10)
  • 1/4 cup REESE Spreads Peanut Butter Chocolate (50 mL)
  • 1/4 cup melted CHIPITS Dark Chocolate Chips(50 mL)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (1 mL)

Directions

  • 1. In skillet, cook bacon, turning once, for about 10 minutes or until crisp. Drain on paper towel-lined plate; let cool.
  • 2. Place bacon on foil-lined baking sheet or tray. Using offset spatula, spread heaping teaspoonful (5 mL) of peanut butter chocolate spread onto each strip of cooked bacon.
  • 3. Place melted chocolate in zip-top bag; snip off one corner. Drizzle over each coated bacon strip. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  • 4. Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes or until chocolate is set.

Peanut Butter S’mores Pie Recipe

Prep Time:  15 Minutes 
Skill Level:  Intermediate

  • 1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs (325 mL)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 mL)
  • 6 tbsp melted butter (90 mL)
  • 30 regular-size marshmallows (30)
  • (hdr) (hdr) FILLING
  • 2 cups CHIPITS Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (500 mL)
  • 3/4 cup 35% whipping cream (175 mL)
  • 1 cup REESE Spreads (250 mL)

Directions

  • 1. Mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar; pour butter over top and stir to moisten. Press into 9-inch (23 cm) pie plate. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and firm; let cool completely.
  • 2. Filling: Place chocolate chips in heatproof bowl. In saucepan, heat cream until steaming and small bubbles form around inside edge of pan. Pour over chocolate chips; let stand for 5 minutes. Mix until smooth.
  • 3. Stir peanut butter chocolate spread into chocolate mixture; mix until smooth. Scrape into crust, smoothing top. Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes or until just slightly firm.
  • 4. Arrange marshmallows in concentric circles over top. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or until filling is firm (or make ahead and refrigerate overnight).
  • 5. Broil for 1 minute or until marshmallows are golden.
  • Tip: To save time, use a prepared graham cracker wafer crust.
