Lise Watier Everyday Essentials

Lise Watier Everyday Essentials

When it comes to my true everyday beauty routine, there are 3 things that have always been my main focus – brows, skin and lips. With my brows well taken care of (after years of hard work), I am always on the hunt for new lipsticks that feel great on my lips and makeup products that moisturize as well as make my skin look… well like JLo!

I’ve been using Lise Watier products for a few years now, but their recent releases have me totally obsessed. With my new hair change as well, I’ve been loving the fact that I can get away with focusing on my skin and lips with my bangs giving me that mysterious (you have no idea my eye makeup isn’t done) look!

Firstly, you all know me and my love for lipsticks and Lise Watier’s Rouge Intense Supreme collection consists of some great colours with a comfortable texture on the lips. I got my hands on four colours that I find really round out the collection. A vibrant red in Suzan, a deep brownish nude in Daphne, a go-to nude in Maya and lastly, a vibrant fuchsia pink in Jasmine.

Not only is the innovative lipstick encased in an elegant magnetic case, the collection offers an intense colour without losing the comfort when wearing it all day. It is also infused with anti-oxidant properties of Labrador Tea extract which happens to be a Lise Watier Cosmetic exclusive ingredient!

Next up its all about the skin. I have to admit that because my skin falls under the category of a warm (slightly deeper) beige, I always have a hard time finding the right CC creme. I have however, fallen in love with this Colour Corrector Multi-Perfecting Moisturizer from Lise Watier. The formula, which also includes UV ray protection, visibly corrects the appearance of skin irregularities to give a luminous even complexion. I’ve also worn it alone over the weekend and with makeup last week when heading to events and I can confidently say that it also hydrates as it corrects.

Another favourite as of late is Lise Watier’s Professional Colour Correcting Stick which I like to use lightly when dealing with my dark spots and acne scars. Available in 4 colour correcting shades: Jaune, Lavande, Peche and Vert, I find that the Peche shade conceals the dark spots so I can wear the CC creme overtop and head out the door when I want that “no makeup-makeup” look!
