Yoga Tree’s Newest Toronto Location

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend a class at Yoga Tree and let me tell you, I didn’t anticipate falling in love with Yoga the way I did . It was my first experience at a Yoga Tree location and the hospitality was beyond amazing.

Beginning with my arrival, the staff was rather welcoming and helpful with showing me the change rooms, which happen to be enormous,  and the studios.  I was also given a quick tour around the building and I must admit, it is much more spacious than I imagined. Right at that moment, I knew this would not be my last visit to this location.

I decided to participate in the Hot Yoga Level 1 class which happens to work the entire body, promotes detoxification and allows deeper stretch unto the muscle tissues, ligaments and tendons. The heated room made it a much smoother experience which allowed me to concentrate on completing all the yoga poses correctly. I can’t even remember if my flexibility skills were as good as they were back in the days.

This was the first time in months, my mind was relaxed and I wasn’t thinking about a million things at a time.  This class was a bit challenging for myself, as I was never one to participate in yoga until this experience, but the instructor Kirsten was not only motivating but creative with her teaching methods which helped a lot. I must admit, I’ve been working  on my  yoga poses since attending this class, so the next step will be to try out the Hot Yoga Level 2 in the next few weeks and I highly encourage everyone to participate with me!

Before leaving, I made sure to stop by Pekoe Kombucha Bar and ordered the Sunrise Ginger which tasted delicious.  There were so many options to choose from but I decided I would try a drink I wasn’t familiar with. After drinking the Sunrise Ginger, I felt even more refreshed than I did after my class.

It was the perfect ending to my first yoga experience!
