My Stay At Sanctuary In The County 

If you follow me on social, then you would have had a glimpse into my weekend in Prince Edward County 2 weeks ago, and more specifically, our Airbnb stay at the Sanctuary in the County. I suppose now it is fair that I express that this happened to be one of my most memorable weekends in my life and that was in large part due to the fact that my boyfriend of 10 years asked me to marry him!

So it’s safe to say that it was a weekend to remember, but aside from the beautiful proposal, our time spent in Prince Edward County was just perfect. When planning our weekend, I stumbled across the this beautiful open space on Instagram through the Prince Edward County geotag, and after a little digging, I found the Airbnb listing. I quickly mentioned to (the now fiancé) Stuart that this was where we needed to stay, and lucky for me, we made it happen! As fate would have it, the owner of the Sanctuary in the County, Tara was so accommodating and before we knew it, our stay was booked.

As the weekend approached, I was getting so insanely excited for our stay, but nothing prepared me for the moment I would walk into the space. The Airbnb spot, which is actually a church built in the 1800’s, was converted into a living space equipped with all the charm of the County. A soak tub, plants galore, high ceilings, a yoga corner and all the sweetest trinkets and decor are only a few reasons why we fell in love with this spot. Not to mention that the small touches, like the Saje essential oils and must-read books on every table, made for a perfect getaway.
