I know, I know, how dare I talk about Fall already!

As much as I wished I lived in Cali or somewhere warm all year round, there is no doubt that Fall will be here soon enough and even though I don’t want summer to go, I personally look forward to the fall season. It’s typically when my favourite collections come out and the makeup trends are ones that I religiously follow and the latest Fall Colour Collection from NARS is no different.

Created by NARS Founder and Creative Director, François Nars, the Fall 2016 Colour Collection features a number of must-have products for the eyes, cheeks and lips that are perfect for the season. I was able to get my hands on some of the pieces from the collection and I have confidently nailed down my favourites.

Contouring is an essential in my books when aiming for a sculpted look and the Talia Contour Blush duo is ideal for everyday, but can easily be deeper contoured for an evening out. I’m a firm believer in every girl needing a go-to red lip shade in her makeup bag, and the Infatuated Red Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is the perfect mix of lipstick and lip pencil in a shade of red that I believe would look great on a number of skin tones. Lastly, I was immediately drawn to the Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Arcturus which is a shimmering deep indigo – it’s definitely not your average blue eyeshade circa the 90’s!
