We’ve already told you how much we loved The Paddock line during the last LGFW but now we’re able to tell you where to buy it, why to buy it, and for how much.
Carrie Hayes has teamed up with Shopgirls Gallery Boutique which is an 1800-square-foot creative retail and studio space! SGB has more than 80 Canadian artists, with jewellery, visual art, home decor, clothing and accessories. This definitely is the ultimate shopping experience for Toronto’s girl on the go!
The 20-piece collection is made from cotton, nylon and bamboo, and includes pants ($60 to $90), jackets ($130), dresses ($95 to $150), shorts ($60) and tops ($30 to $100). And did we mention that all of The Paddock’s pieces are proudly manufactured in Canada?
Shopgirls Gallery Boutique is located at 1342 Queen Street West, and is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The collection will also be available online as of February 25th, 2011!
“I designed The Paddock specifically with Canadian women in mind. Canadian women are stylish, but they also value comfort.” – “I’m so happy to have this line carried at Shopgirls Gallery Boutique since it is dedicated to profiling and supporting Canadian designers, like me.” – Carrie Hayes
As of October 19th, these lace-up booties will be at your local Gap stores, hopefully. (Last fall’s collection, never quite made it into stores on the scheduled day, and later only made it into one or two Gaps across the city) However, fingers crossed, it will not be a repeat this season.

These black laced-up booties have a wedge heel and are designed with two types of leather trim on top of suede. They are great for fall and would look effortlessly chic with a pair of knit stockings , faux leather tights or show some sexy bare legs and throw on a mini dress. ( Love me some wedges on a pair of long legs.)
The outfit possibilites are endless with these booties, so save the date and make the Gap lace-up booties apart of your fall/winter wardrobe!
Don’t you absolutely hate it when a friend compliments your amazing perfume choice, only to tell you that she bought the same one? How about when you are in her shoes and find that the scent she has doesn’t smell the same way on you?

Thanks to the lovely ladies at Aromachology, you can create your OWN signature fragrance. It’s a super fun and unique way of creating a scent specifically for who you are! Aromachology is described as
the science that studies the interrelationship between psychology and scent and the affect it has on behaviour. Meant to reconnect consumers and revolutionize the artistic and scientific experience of creating, enjoying and wearing perfume… – myaromachology.com

The process starts with a quick “Scent Profile” which matches who you are with one of five base groups: Sophisticated & Sensual Floral, a Totally Edible Gourmand, an Exotic Spicy Oriental, a Clean & Fresh or a Bold & Brisk Woodsy. Then, you get to pick up to three out of fifteen additional notes to finish off your scent – the options are endless!

Also, new this season are silky lotions which you customize (tres cool – we know!) and the aromatic candles, which incorporate the base groups, so your home will never clash with your perfume.

We both sniffed away and can confidently say that every scent is true to its name – we now know what confidence smells like – as well as a delight for your nose (no trace of alcohol fumes found!) The hardest part of all of this is coming up with a name for your very own fragrance!

This is the perfect gift for yourself or someone dear to you (you can give them the empty bottle and they get to create their own scent!) Guys, we just made all of the important holidays easy! You’re welcome =)

I had discovered CHANGE lingerie a couple years ago when I was in serious need of a good bra. It never quite occured to me that I could get great quality lingerie that fits, at a good price.
I went to the Don Mills Shopping Centre today with my sister and of course, stopped by the store. Once we got looking, we were introduced to the huge sale they had and immediatly went searching for potential purchases. ( No SLR at the moment, so these photos are off my bb. )

Luckily, I was able to hold back (just a little) and happily left with 2 bras and 1 matching underwear, for only $60.

Lets face it, La Senza can only do so much. Another reason why I love this brand is because, the lingerie is sexy, but comfortable. I encourage all to go to your nearest CHANGE location and get fitted.
There is no doubt in my mind that some women of T.O (ahem) are NOT wearing the proper bra.
Get on that ladies!

While taking a stroll on Toronto’s Queen Street West, we decided to snap a few shots just for fun!
We passed by some ultra bright and sparkly heels at Hell’s Belles…note to self, return next pay day and purchase! Cha-ching! As well as the EuroFab wall, made just for Ally (clearly).

Next we stopped at The Hideout for a bottle of wine, then ventured off into a dark alley, lit up by technicolour walls of spray-paint. There’s something sexy about a pretty, polished girl posing against a wall of graffiti.

What would a photo–op be without lovely greenery scenery? This super cute park is actually accessible through the graffiti alley off of Portland!

After our lovely evening on the town, we hopped on the subway and headed home. On our way we ran into a girl who had her baby hairs gelled to her forehead – WE SWEAR!
