For the third consecutive year, Nespresso is partnering with the best food event in Toronto, Taste of Toronto as the official coffee sponsor.

Bringing Toronto foodies the ultimate tasting experience from June 23 to 26, Taste of Toronto guests have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Nespresso Bar on site to enjoy a free cup of Nespresso coffee paired with delicious canapes from partner chef Victor Barry of Piano Piano.

“Exceptional coffee and high gastronomy go handinhand, which is why Nespresso has continually worked with worldclass chefs over the past 30 years,” said Sylvie Charette, marketing vicepresident of Nespresso Canada. “Taste of Toronto brings together the city’s best chefs and restaurants and gives us a great platform to connect with Toronto’s exciting food community.”

As a Nespresso Coffee Connoisseur Club member, I am not even being biased when I say that the Nespresso Bar is a must-see when visiting the food event.  The 20×20 space is dedicated to the Nespresso brand and will feature a patio where guests can enjoy their coffee and canape pairing. Envivo Lungo, Nespresso’s newest and most intense Lungo Grand Cru, will also be served during the day from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m while Arpeggio Decaffeinato will be served during the evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Decaf in the evening? Yes, Nespresso has thought of everything for its guests and the space created is basically the perfect set up for a warm summer day surrounded by delicious food and great atmosphere.

“Similar to wine pairing, our team, in collaboration with Master Sommelier Élyse Lambert, has meticulously developed these recipes to enhance the flavour profiles in Envivo Lungo and Arpeggio,” said Victor Barry, chef and owner of Piano Piano. “The gingerbread and caramel notes in Envivo Lungo and the cocoa notes in Arpeggio will awaken the senses when enjoyed with our canapes.”

Tickets for Taste of Toronto are now on sale through Ticketmaster, starting at $19 for general admission, but when you grab your tickets, be sure to visit the Nespresso Bar and share your taste for coffee on social media using the hashtag #TasteWithNespresso
