I’ll be heading to The word on the Street Festival this weekend, which takes place this Sunday in Queens Park from 11am to 6pm.

The largest book and magazine festival in Canada celebrates literacy and the written word. I have a huge appreciation for literature and the creativity that authors posess, and the fact that reading and writing literature can take you to a whole other world.  

The 21st festival takes place around Canada; Vancouver, Saskatoon, Kitchener, Halifax and in Toronto, this Sunday, the public can take part in the festivals events, presentations and workshops for FREE!

Also, this year, The Word On The Street Toronto festival welcomes back the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada’s MS Read-A-Thon program. Through the power of reading, students across Ontario unite to fund raise for the immediate needs of those affected by MS.
