Workouts for those Who don’t like to Workout

You may think that you are the only woman who dislikes exercising, but don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many of us hate to exercise, and that’s okay. There is no need to be embarrassed, as long as you live a healthy and happy lifestyle, there is nothing wrong with having an aversion to going for a run or hitting the gym every night. However, in terms of health and fitness, doing some form of regular exercise is important. Swap the gym for a class

Instead of forcing yourself to head to the gym, commit to going to an exercise class instead. There are so many different types of classes available, from Zumba and pilates to keep fit and aerobics; there should be something that takes your fancy.

Exercise classes are a fun and sociable way to exercise and keep fit without spending an hour in the gym each day. One of the best things about joining an exercise class is that you can join with a friend and go along together. Plus, by signing up for a class, you will feel more inclined to attend.

Take up walking

If the idea of getting all hot and sweaty puts you off exercising, then why not take up walking? Walking is a fantastic way to keep fit, stay in shape and tone up – regularly walking will tone up your legs and stomach.

Did you know that if you walk at a good speed, walking can be just as beneficial as running? It has all the same health benefits and is just as good for improving fitness and stamina. Join a dance class

There are various dance classes available, from ballroom dancing to salsa dancing, there is a class for everyone. To have fun exercising you need to be doing something you enjoy, think about the type of dancing you like and find a class or club that offers it.

Try meditational exercise

Meditational exercise like Yoga and Pilates is a fantastic way to stay healthy without going for a run or hitting the gym. While meditational exercises main benefits are flexibility and balance, practicing on a daily basis can also strengthen and build muscle tone in the body.

As well as the physical benefits of practising yoga or pilates on a regular basis, there are also plenty of other mental health and wellness benefits that come with yoga.
