Guys! This coat!

I was so excited to put together this post after I was equally excited to put together this outfit after discovering this leather-like trenchcoat from Le Chateau.

I am really loving Le Chateau’s outerwear collection this year, and for good reason! From their plaid numbers, to their wool peacoats and even stunners like this leather-like coat means that you can always find what you need at Le Chateau. This is literally my third coat purchase this season and I am not even apologizing! This coat was the third pick and as much as I told myself I didn’t need another coat, I coulodn’t stay away.

When I was younger, my mother owned a few leather trenches that she had tucked inside her closet and when I could sneak into it, I used to steal them and prance around. I just loved that they used to make me feel like a chic detective and it ws so 70’s! She used to tell me she would wear them with her go-go boots everyday, so that was exactly my inspiration for this look!

I will always think of my mom when I wear this coat, which in my opinion, is a damn good reason to have picked it up!
