Karir Eyewear, leading specialty eyewear retailer, will be first in Canada to stock the newJean Paul Gaultier by MIKLI collection.

“Mikli is an optical guru – he changed the eyewear business,” says Bob Karir. “He comes out with ideas and defines the era. I like his colours and style–he’s got a certain look: very rectangular and plastic. As soon as I laid eyes on Alain Mikli’s line, I knew we had to have it.”

With both designers recognized for taking chances, the Jean Paul Gaultier by MIKLI collection appeals to those who make bold choices to express individual style. With winged arms that reference corset ties, Jean Paul Gaultier by MIKLI delivers 59 dramatic looks in a handful of colour arrays.

According to Mikli, these are “frames to see as well as to be seen”. In addition to design, this collection features the comfort and technical expertise for which Alain Mikli eyewear is synonymous.
