I am a huge make-up addict. I will have a YouTube channel set up toward the end of the summer so you all better watch me make a complete ass of myself there. But until that day comes, I shall be old-school and review some products for you in a blog post.

I recently tried out some stuff from Rimmel London and I am really impressed. Don’t get me wrong, I do own a lot of their products already, but it takes something new to remind me that I’m taking a brand for granted. I typically don’t think anything phenomenal about drugstore brands because I tend to be a make-up snob but I can’t deny that a lot of them are as good and sometimes even better than the high-end ones. Rimmel London is definitely one of those brands.

Here is what my sister Ursula  and I tried and what we thought of it. Also, a huge thanks to her for being my model.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 10

• lasted through a few smokes, an extra large coffee, and crackers
• took about 3 hours before fading got noticable
• super awesome lipstick

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara in black

• Worked just as good as the Voluminous by L’oreal – boo ya!
  

Rimmel Glam’Eyes HD Eyeshadow Quad in 005 English Rose

• Really nice colours
• Cool and easy to follow instructions on back for those who have trouble applying
• Pretty Union Jack shape
• Downfall, due to shape, harder to get colours on brushes, other wise, awesome

Rimmel Vinyl Max in 201 Breathless

• Super pretty shimmery mauve/pink colour
• Stays put nicely, not sticky
• Nice big applicator brush, less strokes to cover your lips
• Don’t need a lot of product to cover.

Follow
