Every Day Hair Essentials

As a blogger, I tend to get a number of beauty products to try – hair products as well, so sometimes I find myself getting lost in samples, trying out different brands and always looking for one that really, honestly and truly works! And while I’m always open to trying out new products, I do have my favourites that I come across and fall in love with immediately!

Toppik 

I have talked about Toppik before here and really, I’m not lying when I say that I’m obsessed. I’ve been using Toppik often depending on my hairstyle to create fullness in my roots and to help with bad hair days and thinner areas on my scalp. It’s become my go to when I need to fill in some spots for extra TLC and since I was introduced, I use it religiously!

Ouai Hair Oil

I thought Ouai was the kind of brand that was all the hype, but I actually haven’t met a Ouai product I haven’t liked! I love using oil on my hair because my ends can get quite dry, but this is one oil that I find is light to the touch and leaves hair actually frizz free and smooth! The light texture it what my hair needs and regardless of what style I give my hair, I use my Ouai oil almost every day!

Tangle Teezer

Some may think, “a brush?”, but yes, the right brush is just as important as the products and techniques you use, so of course I’m glued to my Tangle Teezer Compact Styler. I was introduced a few years ago and love how compact the brush is so I can take it with me wherever I go. The brush also includes a unique two-tiered system technology – long teeth detangle while the short teeth smooth the hair cuticle for healthier-looking, glossy hair. Not to mention its helpful for back-combing and adding volume! That’s a win-win for me!

Redken Control Addict 28

Okay, this hairspray is bomb.com. I have never used a hairspray that worked as well as the Redken 28. I was introduced for the first time at Fashion Week and I soon realized that my hair wasn’t just holding because it was dirty as hell, but because this hairspray would not allow it to move at all, so naturally I was sold! This also the only hairspray that offers 24 hour hold without residue or flaking which really helps a dry scalp gal like me!

Kerastase Chronologist

I have been sharing a lot of hair-related stories, so you may have seen how much I’ve been obsessed with properly treating and caring for my hair. With that being said, I have been taking extra special care of my locks and really focusing on what my hair needs. I have been using Kerastase Chronologist collection and have been loving the results. The products have not only been helping my locks stay moisturized, but its also been helping my scalp as well. The lightweight feeling once my hair is dried is also life changing, so I’m obviously hooked!
