Painted out trim “gives the look of added depth” and helps to create a very sophisticated space. Para Paints Spring Sage (PF40) and Cloverdale Paint’s Cirrus (CA 188) would look great with this wall effect.

Statement walls can help to add interest to a room, especially if your space contains a lot of neutrals. It also doesn’t have to be an expensive purchase.  Why not add a personal touch and create your own statement abstract art painting?

Blue and white dishware is another hot trend for 2014. Modern designs, such as Paola Navone’s collection can compliment any set of staple white dishes by adding a little pop of colour.
