And the fashion editorial world got that much cooler.

After appearing on the cover of Vogue 33 times in her career, 39-year old supermodel, Kate Moss is heading to print and will now be the woman behind the words. Moss will be a contributing fashion editor for British Vogue making her debut in the forthcoming Spring issue.

Here’s what editor Alexandra Shulman had to say.

“Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see on the pages of British Vogue. I am really looking forward to working with her on ideas.”

I can only image the ideas she’ll bring forth to the magazine. Her effortless style and coolness is what made her so popular back in the 90s and she’ll reprise her role as a fashion icon in a new way. Her new role will allow her to envision photoshoots with the magazine’s stylists, working closely with designers and photographers, and really let her creativity unfold.

Oh and she also mentioned that she’ll be reprising her role as designer with Topshop for another collaboration in April 2014. Time to fill up that piggy bank.
