Shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself, actress and Gossip Girl, Blake Lively poses as the face for Chanel’s Mademoiselle Handbag campaign.

Although the ad itself doesn’t seem to be anything we haven’t seen before, Lively’s chic look of fur and striking makeup is hard to ignore.

Being the face of Chanel was something the young actress has always set out to do, and as seen here, she clearly didn’t give up until she got it! As Lively and Chanel creative director Karl  became very close, Lagerfeld even stated that he felt as though “she embodied the Chanel woman”.

Uncle Karl is rarely wrong, so for now, we look forward to what Blake Lively, the ambassador of Chanel has to offer the iconic brand.
