New York Photo Diary w/ My Google Pixel 3

Just last week I was in the big apple, and though I have visited NYC many many times before, this time around we did things a little differently. We mixed business with pleasure, we slowed down quite a bit and I wasn’t spending the entire time “getting content” but rather, I let the content come to me.

With that being said, I opted to capture my photos and work during this trip with my Google Pixel 3. Instead of lugging around my camera from spot to spot in the freezing cold – no literally, it was FREEZING that weekend, I instead thought that I would properly test out my Google Pixel 3 and all of its features. Whether its managing my apps or focusing on the amazing photo and video capabilities, I’m so happy that I was able to capture my trip with just my phone, which might I add, did not die on me once!

That battery life is on another level!

The Google Pixel 3 does a fantastic job at capturing both views and details where I’m taking a photo of my outfit, or the stunning NYC views behind me. The Group Selfie Cam is also one of my favourite features. Rather than trying to fit everything in one image, the Google Pixel 3 allows for both my sister and me to get into a shot with the stunning Brooklyn Bridge in the back!

I no longer feel like I need my DSLR to capture my food photos. The Google Pixel 3 has an easy-to-use camera and I can easily adjust the brightness on the gloomiest of New York days! The photo below was taken late at night in a super dark cafe and though it may not look like its in the sunshine, I am so impressed by how bright it gets without creating a grainy image.

When a place is so pretty but the space is tight, I love that all I need is my Google Pixel 3 to capture my experiences! Isn’t this the prettiest spot ever!?

What’s better? A great view or a delicious cup of coffee?

Yeah, I can’t decide either!

You need a great portrait lens option so you can get a close up view of this melted parmesan, am I right?
