Last Thursday, Uncle Otis in Yorkville, was host to the ShopMyClothes.com launch which doubled as a fundraiser for kidney cancer.

The store  consistently filled up with some of Toronto’s most influential media and fashion personalities: Gail of Magnet Creative, Fashionights‘ Julio, Toronto Is Fashion duo Mark & Richard, Danielle of Final Fashion, Fusion of Effects‘ Marcus, and Hawley & Tristan of Sidewalk Hustle – to name a few! Everyone was there! We even ran into an old friend we went to elementary school with, Erica Francis of Down To Mars Girl (what are the odds?!).

Guests spent the night clinking their Stella Artois bottles in celebration, while bidding on items from Adidas, L.L. Bean, Naked and Famous, C2 Apparel,  and many others! We even spotted a gorgeous Tiffany & Co. key necklace!

The silent auction helped raise funds for kidney cancer, while the launch of ShopMyCltohes.com inspired people to stop throwing out their closet contents, and resell their once loved fashion items to help save our planet. The environment and fashion – what more could you ask for?
