Style Nine to Five

As fashion career pursuers we understand the disheartening feeling of finding out that many potential “employers” are abusing the word “fashion” in their job ads. Most of the time they’re not even posting real internships let alone career launching jobs!

On that note, we also don’t want to have to tag the word ‘fashion’ for every single job search. Wouldn’t it be nice to eliminate ‘fashion’ retailer, ‘fashion’ column writer, ‘fashion’ devotee who needs a job they love, and replace it with “I just found my career without sifting through a pile of crap”?

For those of you that feel the same way, here’s a quite handy website whose sole purpose is to serve the need of ‘fashion’ job hunters, like us. It’s much like Workopolis, Craigslist, Monster, or Kijiji but the difference is that this website only allows posts from the fashion industry. Style Nine to Five will definitely save you some time!

Employers advertise full-time, part-time and intern positions for thirty days. If the position is not filled within the time frame, the job posting will be renewed for another month! Employers can also search a resume database of pre-screened, qualified applicants!

Style Nine to Five has been filling positions for companies such as Aritzia, Aldo, Harry Rosen, Hugo Boss, The Bay, Le Chateau, and FASHION Magazine. For anyone looking to work in fashion or in dire need of some good and qualified help, Style Nine to Five is just one click away! Happy hunting!
