Introduced to Toronto’s most stylish at an event on March 27th with a 70s soundtrack at the shoe-lover’s paradise Gravitypope, the collection is a must-have once the warmer weather hits! Orla Kiely, an Irish fashion designer who has made London her home, has collaborated with Clarks on her first-ever shoe collection and its exclusively carried in Canada by gravitypope.

Although Kiely is known for her trademark prints her shoe collection is attention grabbing yet lacking prints of any kind. Most are shown in a patent leather and some carry those oversized buckles characteristic of the Mod movement, however the collection has something to offer everyone; a go to staple of the season are the sandals in colour blocked in fresh shades.

The standout shoe for me was the “Orla Marianne” platform, perfect with short shorts on a hot summer day.
