The Stayfree Challenge

You know those typical pad commercials on TV. The ones where you see the blue liquid indicating how much the advertised brand absorbs the blue liquid showing what would happen during THAT time of month? Yeah, those commercials.

Well, we all know it isn’t quite the same as the real thing, but after getting the opportunity to do a Stayfree Challenge myself, I was convinced by what brand gets the job done when we need it the most!

Shown above, I was given The Stayfree Challenge kit which provided everything I needed to compare Stayfree Ultrathin Pads to its two other competitors. Right from the beginning I noticed the feel of the Stayfree pad and how much softer and delicate it felt.

To begin, I placed each of the three pads onto the mat and poured 5 mL of blue liquid onto each one, and gave it 30 seconds to absorb and do its thing. As the blue liquid set, I noticed immediately that Stayfree contained the liquid in one spot the best while Competitor 1 was all over the place and Competitor 2 seemed not to absorb at all.

I placed the 5 lb weight to each pad and left them for 5 seconds before removing them to reveal which pad absorbed best and which came up short. The results of the Stayfree Challenge were clear. The Stayfree blotting paper was clean and clear while Competitor 1 had minor spots and Competitor 2 was just plain embarrassing and didn’t absorb nor keep the blue liquid contained! What we understand from this test is that Stayfree will give you comfort when you’re not feeling so comfortable, while Competitors 1 and 2 show that not only will you feel like you’re wearing a wet diaper, you are going to emit an unpleasant odour without the absorbency and clean feeling that you get from Stayfree. Nobody should ever have to feel like an uncomfortable wet baby. (Unless you’re a baby)

After taking the Stayfree Challenge, I am convinced on the Stayfree product and how well it works when you need it the most – if you know what I mean! While the blue liquid is not the same thing, the above test really proves the difference between Stayfree up against its competitors and its ability to absorb and keep the liquid in a focused area without having to feel like you’re wearing a diaper. Hallelujah, right?
