The backdrop of the beautiful Malibu Zuma Beach fits perfectly with the style of this cover shoot and we are quickly reminded why we can’t get enough of Del Rey’s sultry look.
In the issue, LDR opens up about the women that inspire her, her relationship with her beau and how the fashion industry has opened up its arms to her.
“People in fashion rescued me. Because they are so much more removed from the music arena, they felt it was OK to support me when I needed it most. They never had any baggage about who I was. I think I’ve learned something from them as well: I know now that it’s really important to feel beautiful. There is a power to that.”

There is some serious British invasion going on at Yorkdale Mall! After one of our favourite brands, Ted Baker joined the newly renovated Yorkdale Mall wing, we were more than thrilled to hear that the London-based retail brand, AllSaints has joined the luxury brand and is set to open today.
The 6,000 square-foot flagship opens in the newly expanded luxury wing of the Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto. The new All Saints location in Yorkdale will carry a full range of the brand’s iconic British collection as well as cutting edge technology aimed at enhancing the shopping experience and embracing digital innovation.
Established in 1994, AllSaints has become a leading international fashion brand. The brand opened its first stand-alone store in London, United Kingdom in 1997, and since then, it has grown quickly to 65 stores and 35 concessions across the UK, US and Europe.
It looks like Yorkdale’s expanded wing is becoming a little piece of shopping heaven!

Aldo collaborates with London-based Preen to create a Spring capsule of six shoes for ALDO RISE, the support network between the footwear retailer and up-and-coming designers. These beauties walked down the Preen’s runway last September, but they are now shopable exclusively on Aldo’s online site for $155. Only a few dollars more than a typical Aldo show but these styles are definitely worth it, especially this neon/snakeskin pump above. We can just picture this heel with a killer suit or pencil skirt!
Most of the styles are now available on Aldo.com so get them now while they last, because we all know that these beauties won’t!
Which style is your favourite?
Images of the new Zara April lookbook have been released and while I usually feel like I need to make a mad dash to the closest location to scoop up my favourites before they are already gone, it’s so refreshing that all I have to do is log into their new online shopping site. Ahhh, relief.
At the moment with snow surprising us each day here in Toronto, while last year this time it was 26 degrees, this lookbook gives us something to look forward to. Favourites in this collection are easily the crisp blue suit and the floral pants below but really, I’ll have everything. from the fitted blazers to the knit separates and relaxed jumpsuits.
