World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week S/S 2014 Joe Fresh

The room was buzzing in the orange glow of the Joe Fresh runway show on October 23 and the Spring/Summer collection didn’t disappoint. The upbeat tune of Britney Spears closing the show didn’t hurt either.

The best part of the Joe Fresh show was watching everyday looks parade up and down the runway. These looks transition easily from day to night by adding in edgier pieces and can be mixed and matched for endless possibilities. I look forward to incorporating the elegant white blouses into my work wardrobe.

The colour-blocking trend is alive and well at Joe Fresh with navy and white taking centre stage. Could navy be the new “it” colour for 2014? The sassy street style wasn’t complete without sleek strands pulled into a polished ponytail.

The classic pieces had a laid back feel with the back of blouses left untucked and pants slung low on the hips. The vibe was was relaxed, fun and, in one word, “fresh”.
